Weather
The Fair will generally be open during normal weather conditions, if severe weather such as tornados are threatening our area please check our website for updates! The rides may be shut down for safety due to rain or high winds. Many activities take place inside the buildings. Check your phone weather map before you come. There are NO REFUNDS for parking, gate admission, ride tickets, or ride armbands (even if you only rode 1 ride).
Pets
Due to strict State Laws of the Department of Agriculture, Animals at a fair are highly controlled to avoid serious airborne contamination illnesses and for the safety of displayed livestock. For the safety of your pet and our animals, we do not allow pets on the grounds. Service animals are allowed per state and federal law.
Ticket Purchase Terms and Conditions
A Fair ticket is a revocable license and may be revoked by Management and admission refused for any reason. Unauthorized or unlawful resale or attempted resale of Fair tickets is grounds for seizure and cancellation of all admission privileges without compensation. Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources are void. Holder agrees by use of Fair ticket, not to transmit or aid in transmitting any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the performance, exhibition or event to which Fair ticket is issued. By redeeming Fair tickets, you hereby acknowledge your permission to use your picture for television, video screens, and elsewhere. You hereby waive all residual rights or claims that might arise from use of your picture or likeness for any purpose at any future date. As our guest, you are required to comply with our safety rules and are cautioned to heed all warnings. By accepting admission with this pass, you agree to release us from all responsibility for any loss, injury or damage which you may suffer, excepting any loss, injury or damage caused by our reckless, willful or grossly negligent acts.
Entry into the Fairgrounds constitutes acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
Admission Policies
Gate Admissions Policies:
- All Shows and Times are subject to change.
- This is an outdoor event, no refunds will be given due to inclement weather or unsafe conditions.
- IN the case of forced cancellation by the State of Florida, the Health Department, or County Government, you will be eligible for refund for tickets (less any processing fees). Requests for refund MUST be made within 30 days of such a cancellation. Original Tickets MUST be returned to the Fair office at the time of request.
- All entertainment seating is first come, first serve. No guaranteed seating is available, and no refunds will be given if seating is unavailable for a given event.
- Photo identification may be required for all credit card transactions.
- No alcoholic beverages are permitted to be brought into the Fairgrounds.
- No animals other than service animals are permitted on the Fairgrounds.
Fair Management reserves the right to expel any individuals or groups from the grounds for misconduct, improper attire, or improper gatherings at any time.
Weapons Carried Pursuant to a Valid Concealed Weapons Permit
For your safety, if you are carrying, please inform Fair Gate Staff and the Deputy at the gate, so they know you have a weapon.
Pursuant to Section 790.06, Florida Statutes, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is authorized to issue licenses to carry concealed weapons or concealed firearms to qualified persons and to recognize reciprocity with regard to licenses to carry concealed weapons or concealed firearms issued by other states. The statute defines concealed weapons or concealed firearms as a handgun, electronic weapon or device, tear gas gun, knife, or billie, but the term does not include a machine gun as defined in Section 790.001(9).
Any person in compliance with the terms of such license may carry a concealed weapon or concealed firearm onto the Martin County Fairgrounds. The licensee must carry the license, together with valid identification, at all times in which the licensee is in actual possession of a concealed weapon or firearm and must display both the license and proper identification upon demand by a law enforcement officer.
Prohibited Activities
Pursuant to Section 616.185, Florida Statutes, entering and remaining upon any grounds or facilities owned, operated, or controlled by the Martin County Fair Association, Inc. (the “Association”) and committing any act that disrupts the orderly conduct of any authorized activity of the Martin County Fair Association, Inc., or its lessees, licensees, or the general public on those grounds or facilities; or entering and remaining upon any grounds or facilities owned, operated, or controlled by the Martin County Fair Association, Inc. that disrupts the orderly conduct of any authorized activity of the Association, or its lessees, licensees, or the general public on those grounds or facilities constitutes trespass.
A law enforcement officer may arrest any person on or off the premises, without a warrant, if the officer has probable cause for believing such person has committed the offense of trespass upon the Martin County Fairgrounds.
Such an arrest does not render the law enforcement officer criminally or civilly liable for false arrest, false imprisonment, or unlawful detention.
Any individuals who engage in disruptive activity as described above, while on the Martin County Fairgrounds will be asked to leave the Martin County Fairgrounds without refund. They will also be issued trespass notices and may be subject to criminal charges, as well as civil causes of action.
The Martin County Fair DOES NOT allow the following items to be brought onto the fairgrounds:
1. Illegal firearms/weapons
2. Explosive devices/fireworks
3. Alcoholic beverages
4. SELFIE STICKS; GoPro’s
5. Drones
6. Any other item deemed to be a danger to others.
7. Any clothing deemed to be offensive or inappropriate.
